Founded in 2021 with the aim of promoting art, culture, and social inclusion, the
Caterina Dallara Foundation is now a point of reference for the community of Varano de' Melegari. Through projects aimed at combating educational poverty and promoting the local area, the Foundation has successfully combined vision and civic commitment.
In June 2025, the Foundation's new headquarters opened its doors: a place where architecture, design, and social values come together. To enhance these spaces, the choice fell on the lighting excellence of
3F Filippi.
Delicate and elegant lightingTo meet the aesthetic and functional requirements of the project, 3F Filippi proposed one of its most distinctive products:
3F Solo in the L version, developed in collaboration with the
Alfonso Femia / AF*Design studio.
Characterized by a simple and refined design, the luminaire stands out for its innovative
inverted "U" lens, made of extruded polycarbonate with knurling along the entire profile. This is complemented by a double finish on the plastic surface-smooth on the outside and matt on the inside-which allows for uniform and comfortable light distribution.
Thanks to these technical solutions, the system provides:
- homogeneous coverage of working surfaces
- a significant increase in installation spacing
- a drastic reduction in the UGR (Unified Glare Rating) index, making the environment visually comfortable and glare-free.
Lighting up the territory, cultivating the futureThe Caterina Dallara Foundation is a comprehensive project that highlights all the values of the parties involved.
For 3F Filippi, this translates into quality, reliability, and value, principles that we have always promoted and passed on to those who choose us as their trusted lighting partner for their projects.
Because every great project starts with an idea, but comes to life when it finds the right light.
Keep Lighting Your Vision!
